An eco-responsible cycling event

We have only one planet and we must preserve it, for ourselves, for our children and our children’s children. That is why in all our actions, in all our daily life gestures, we must take care of it.

We, the organizers and you, the cyclists, are committed to limiting our environmental impact.

LIMIT OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

Think of carpooling. Of course in the respect of the barrier gestures, let us limit the CO2 emissions. So, whenever possible, come with several people in the same vehicle.

The jerseys of the brand “Chef de File” that we offer to the participants are made in Europe, limiting the environmental impact

USE RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

No more cups, cutlery, plates and containers made of non-recyclable materials used in the catering industry, whether for lunch or at the refreshment stands. We will only give you containers made of recycled and recyclable materials.

LET’S SORT THE WASTE

For the lunch, containers will be available to sort your waste; our volunteers will help you in this process.

At the refreshment stands, throw your cups and packaging into the bags provided, they must not end up in the environment.

DON’T THROW ANYTHING ON THE ROAD

Your packaging, your gel cases…, nothing should end up on the road or on the side of the paths. Keep them with you, in your pocket, and throw them away at the refreshment posts or at the finish line in the garbage.

COURSE MARKING

We will use a maximum of removable signs and will limit the use of ground markings with biodegradable paint.

Our circuits take roads located in sites classified NATURA 2000

These sites are born from the will of Europe to preserve biodiversity and aim to better take into account the challenges of biodiversity in human activities. Their objective is to protect a certain number of habitats and representative species that live there.

Let’s respect these areas by limiting our impact when we pass through.
